Windows has similar network capabilities as Linux.

If the network doesn’t support DHCP, follow these steps.

  1. Open Control Panel
  2. Go to Network settings
    1. Search for “Network”
    2. Click on “Network and Sharing Center”
  3. Go to Network properties
    1. On the network, either Ethernet or WiFi, click “properties”
    2. Select IPv4 or IPv6 properties
  4. Add custom network settings
