About Me

I am going into my sophmore year of college at UCF, studying Electrical/Computer engineering. I am heavily involved in Hack@UCF, vice president of WikiKnights, and to a lesser extent, KnightHacks, AI@UCF, and IEEE@UCF.

I enjoy learning and solving complex problems, optimizing systems, and experimenting with new technology. Knowledge alone isn’t useful; it requires wisdom to combine that knowledge with the appropriate circumstance to build something incredible.

Interests

Among my many pursuits, I am primarily interested in rationality, memory improvement, Obsidian, computer programming, Apple development, web development, Artificial Intelligence, blockchains, cybersecurity, linguistics, origami, paper mache, crochet, gardening, and reading. My goal is to learn enough to combine these topics to develop new ideas.

In my other free time, I enjoy reading books and articles on improving myself related to my other interests. Sometimes this means psychology books, like Thinking Fast and Slow; other times, this means learning the International Phonetic Alphabet to design multilingual fantasy scripts with adaptive phonetics so that I could later build entire languages.

Life Plans

During high school, I focused on leadership training through Civil Air Patrol, robotics through the underwater MATE ROV competition, and cybersecurity through CyberStart America, PicoCTF, and CyberPatriot.

In college, I am studying electrical engineering for a career in robotics programming or cybersecurity, while dual majoring in computer engineering, completing a math minor, accelerated masters program, and thinking about an undergraduate thesis. I'm also involved in undergraduate research, clubs, and looking for good internships. Ultimately, I want to make something like self-improving AI, or robots for space.

If I can’t be perfect, I can continue to improve myself as close as possible.

On the Nature of Corban Pendrak (contested)

Corban Pendrak is a humanoid-looking being, but it is debated whether his true nature leans more eldritch or siren (Pendrak et al.). Observation of his habits and general demeanor leans eldritch, though many close encounters have reported a strange, subtle manipulation reminiscent of sirens (Various personal encounters). While his age on this planet is unknown, he is truly unfathomably old (see other notes). His reflexes are often compared with an octopus and his eyes like blobs, “his eyes shimmered like blobs”, though it is not known what this actually means (Enoon et al.). Photographs often reveal a highly photogenic being aware of most cameras in his vicinity (see various footage).
